My strategy to constant updating of the blog now is going to be simple: I’m going to continuously microblog, mostly from my phone and putting words together about my daily look or OOTD. I’m going to call this new blog content ‘Plus Style On-the-Go’ – sharing my plus size style taken and written while I’m, well… on-the-go. Expect short and simple posting (except for this one, obviously) of me being your fat hijabi.
Tell me one thing and be honest, don’t you think this pants I’m wearing looks like one you wear to sleep? Funny how that’s what I thought about when I saw it. It spells ‘comfy’ and ‘sleepwear’ more than it being a trendy nautical-inspired stripes trousers.
Bought it at MANGO last month and have been wearing it to sleep twice (most expensive sleeping pants I’ve ever purchased – seriously). Today the pants made its public appearance debut as my work outfit and I think I look kinda… good.
p.s. Expect one of my next postings about the awesome Malaysian Plus-size Ex-changed community on Facebook. From whom I got this great GAP denim sleeveless top from fellow body positive lady, Ratna of Adevi Clothing, for cheap!
Outfit details: Pashmina scarf as turban from Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman, black turtleneck top as inner from H&M+, denim top pre-loved from GAP courtesy of Ratna, striped cotton trousers from MANGO, brown suede stacked heels with fringe from Next, sunglass and bag from Monki.
